Leather footwear

Brush off dry dirt. Condition every 6–8 weeks. Goodyear-welted soles can be rebuilt by any competent cobbler — or send them back to us.

Canvas and suede

Brush suede with a brass brush while dry, never wet. Machine wash canvas cold, air dry, never tumble.

Leather bags

Keep away from prolonged water. Condition once or twice a year with a neutral cream. Full-grain leather darkens with use — that is the material working correctly.

Wool and knitwear

Air rather than wash. If washing is necessary, hand wash cold with wool detergent, dry flat away from heat.

Denim

Raw selvedge: wash cold, inside out, rarely. Expect the first wash to shrink 1–2 cm and the indigo to fade at the creases.

Watches

Rinse with fresh water after saltwater contact. Mechanical movements need servicing every 5–7 years. Battery replacements on quartz models are free if you send the watch back.
